How To Multiply A Two Digit Number By Eleven

The numbers 17, 35,  62,  73, 86,  97 are used in the  video.
Example : 17 x 11
Leave a space between the 2 digits : (1 ___ 7)
Add 1 + 7   (1+7=8)
Insert the result (8) into the empty space.
Therefore 17 x 11 = 187

When the result of the addition is more than 9, insert the "unit" digit into the empty space and carry the "tens" digit from the addition.
Example : 73 x 11
7 ___ 3
7+3 = 10
Place the 0 into the empty space.
Add the 1 and 7 (1+7=8)
Therefore 73 x 11 = 803
