The Seventh Card

Shuffle then deal 26 cards and place the cards face-up in a stack.
Turn this stack over and move it to the side.
Deal the remaining deck, from the top, face up, into a number of piles, as follows.
For example if the first card dealt is a 6, cover it with 4 cards (face up), counting out "7","8,"9", and "10," as you deal.
Then start a new pile.

If the next card is a 7, say "7", and covers it with 3 cards, calling out, "8, 9, 10."

If you lay down a 10, simply announce "10" and leave it in a pile by itself.
An ace counts 1, and all face cards count 10.

At the end, you will usually run out of cards before you can finish a pile.
In that case, the pile can't be used.
Place it (face down) on the stack that was moved to the side.

Now choose any 3 of the piles, and turn them over (face down).
Next turn over the top card on each of the three piles.
Gather up all non-chosen piles and place them on top of the side stack (face down).
Make your prediction.
Total the values of the three turned-over cards.
In the video it is 7 + 4 + 4 = 15
Announce the name of the card that is in that position. (card # 15 in the video)

Magic happens!
