If possible use a cloth napkin although a paper napkin is an acceptable substitute.

Fold the napkin in half to form a triangle.
Fold the right and left corners down to the bottom point of the triangle.
Bring the top point down to about 2 centimetres (1 inch) of the bottom point.

Fold this point up to the centre of the top edge.
Flip the napkin over.
Fold the left corner passing the center point along the bottom edge.
Fold the right corner toward  the centre.

Tuck the corner into the top flap.
Stand the napkin up, rounding it to let it stand.

Don't forget to say Grace before dinner.
