Take 13 hearts cards from a deck of cards.
Turn cards face down
Set aside the bottom card.

Cut the deck as many time as desired.
Place cards into 6 rows:
1 2 3 4  5  6
7 8 9 10 11 12

Step 1:
Ask the participant to choose any one of the 6 pairs.
Move choice aside.
Turn over 5 remaining pairs.
Magic: Each pair will total thirteen.
Step 2:
Turn over the participants chosen pair.
In the video the participant chose 7 + 6 = 13
Step 3:
Turn over the remaining card.
It's the King of Hearts (King's card value = 13)

PS:
How to do this math trick:
Lay out the Ace to Queen in pairs so that each pair totals 13.
Example: 10 + 3, A + Queen, 9 + 4, )
Set the King aside as the magic card  (Lucky number 13).

Using only the Hearts suit is a great magic trick for Valentine's math!
