Find It

Tell the spectator that you can find a card in the deck.

Shuffle a deck of 52 cards.

Divide the deck into 4 stacks by turning the cards over, one at a time.
Create these four piles from left to right as stacks 1, 2, 3, 4

Memorize the fourth card in the first pile.(in stack 1)
In the video it is the 5 of clubs.

Place stack 2 on top of stack 1 creating one pile of cards.
Turn cards face down on table.
Move this pile to the side.

Now put stack 4 on top of stack 3 creating one pile of cards.
Turn cards face down then place the top three cards face up on the table, one beside the other.
In the video they are the 6, the 2 and the 5.

How to do the trick:
Each pile must total 10.
On top of the 6, place four cards face down (6 + 4 = 10)
On top of the 2, place eight cards face down (8 + 2 =10)
On top of the 5, place  five cards face down. (5 + 5 = 10)

Place the remaining cards on top of the pile that you had moved to the side.

Total the amount of face down cards you have placed in the three piles.
In the video there are 17 cards.
(4 + 8 + 5 =17)

Subtract the total (17) from 26.
(26 - 17 = 9)

From the pile that you had set aside, remove the top 9 cards.
Magic!
The next card is the 5 of clubs.

Please note that aces and face cards (J,Q K) count as 10.
Do not add any cards to these stacks.
