Weight Loss

As obesity levels continue to rise in Canada and around the world, a new study out of Laval University suggests
that a diet rich in calcium can help to control body fat.
The first significant finding of the study was the demonstration that a low calcium intake is associated with an increase in body fatness.
In addition, we found that a low calcium intake is associated with an increase in the level of blood cholesterol
which represents a risk factor for the development of heart disease.
