A ground-breaking new study is calling for swift action to help reduce the number of women
who are dying because of the serious lung condition known as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Among the recommendations outlined in Women and COPD: A National Report,
the medical community is being urged to improve screening methods for COPD in women.
