Diagnostic Test
The following diagnostic tests
are usually administered to students who are between 10 and 13 years of
age.
45% of ten
year olds pass these tests.
50% to 55% of eleven
year olds pass these tests.
55% to 65% of twelve
year olds pass these tests.
Student results are placed on a stanine of 1 to 9.
A student experiencing
deficiencies who is :
Ten
years old would be in stanine 3 and would score less than 23%
Eleven
years old would be in stanine 4 and would score less than 34%
Twelve
years old would be in stanine 5 and would score less than 45%
Thirteen
years old would be in stanine 6 and would score less than 56%
Procedure
:
Administer these online tests : whole
numbers test, decimals
test, fractions
test, metric
system test
Each test lasts a maximum of fourty
minutes.
Have paper and pencil ready.
Once the test is completed, a percentage will be indicated.
Place this result on the stanine below
Follow-up:
Print the completed test and remedy student
deficiencies.
