Jack Be Nimble

This activity is done only with stationary desks. Children stand on the right side of their desk. They then crouch down facing the desk. Each child puts his/her left hand on the back of the seat and then the right hand grasping the desk. Do a knee spring in this position by bouncing lightly in a crouch position. Do this movement until the last verse has been recited. Then stand and carefully vault over the seat into the next ailse (Fatties beware!) Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack jump over the desk ...what a trick!
